[Type 97 medium tank dozer equipment]
- During World War II, there was a vehicle equipped with a dozer in part of the new turret type among the Type 97 Chi-Ha medium tanks.
- This vehicle was developed assuming the construction of an airfield in the rear, and a fixture was provided between the first and second wheels, and the attached dozer was operated with a wire.
- Originally, the dozer was designed to be raised and lowered with a hydraulic system, but if the hydraulic system failed, it would be difficult for local troops to repair it, so it was changed to manual operation.
- Production continued after the war, excluding turrets and armaments, and was used for reconstruction.
