- Ken Block is an American professional driver who started out in skateboarding and motocross, and was active in WRC, WRX, and drifting, and was also a businessman who was involved in the creation of [DC Shoes].
- This machine was jointly developed by Brock's Hoonigan Racing Division and BBi Autosports in order to win the 100th Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC).
- The body color is a homage to the famous Porsche 917/20 ``Pink Pig'' and is combined with the partnership Mobil 1's High Flying Pegasus.
- Block was unable to participate in the race due to engine trouble, and was aiming for PPIHC the following year, but in January 2023, Block passed away in a snowmobile accident.
