[Product introduction]
- The 12 series passenger car is an express seat passenger car that was manufactured from 1969 to 1978 and was capable of a maximum speed of 110km/h.
- Equipped with an air conditioner powered by an underfloor diesel generator, it was equipped on a par with the express trains and diesel cars of the time, and became the basis for the 14 series and later new passenger cars.
- Initially, it was operated as a special train and Osaka Expo transport, and later as a regular express train, and was used all over the country except Hokkaido.
- In later years, it was used in various ways, such as being converted into a commuter train or Joyful Train, and can still be seen in use as an event train or wave passenger car.

[Product features]
- Realistic and accurate reproduction of details such as seats with armrests and handrails, three-dimensional trolleys, underfloor equipment with piping, and coolers and ventilators with separate parts.
- Reproduces the painting with white bands on the blue car body. Select a model with a white band on the door.
- The jumper plug is expressed as a separate part for the connection part of the gable side.
- The TR217 type bogie has three-dimensional pillow springs and brake shoes.
- Suhafu 12 and Ohafu 13 have tail lights on
