- Masterpiece 16 Series 1/80 16.5mm Gauge Metal Kit

[About the prototype]
- This is an electric diesel locomotive that has been produced by Japan Freight Railway (JR Freight) since 2017.
- Developed to replace the aging DE10 and DE11 type locomotives.
- This is a front and rear asymmetrical bonnet type locomotive.
- It has a BB type arrangement with a 2-axle trolley, which improves maintenance.
- The maximum speed is 110 km/h, making it suitable for a variety of uses on local lines.
-Currently, equipment is being expanded steadily and this format is being introduced to Rinkai Railway companies, which are group companies.
- In this project, we used a mass-produced aircraft operated by JR Freight as a prototype.

[Kit overview]
- The body is made of nickel silver etched plates and some white metal parts.
- The complex side of the bonnet is expressed in detail by stacking three layers of T0.3 boards.
- Distinctive handrails, end beams, jumper plugs, rooftop parts, etc. are reproduced with many lost wax parts.
- The trolley frame is also included as a lost wax part.
- Rooftop cooler, underfloor equipment, etc. are all made of white metal and included in the kit.

- Power related equipment and couplers are not included in the kit.
- Please use power with MP gear etc.
