[About the actual car]
- The M4 was a medium tank developed by the United States during World War II.
- It was supplied not only to the US but also to the Allied powers, and became one of the most iconic tanks of the war.
- Development began on the M3 medium tank chassis, which had been in mass production since 1941, and equipped it with a fully rotating turret. In October, it was officially adopted as the M4 medium tank.
- Then, in February 1942, mass production began, taking advantage of America's industrial production capacity.
- At that time, differences in specifications arose depending on the manufacturer, and each was distinguished by a different model name.
- The first of these to go into mass production was the M4A1, which had a one-piece cast upper hull.
- Because there were fewer steps involved in the welded body of the M4, mass production was up and running quicker, making it the first to be mass-produced.
- The initial model was equipped with a 37.5 caliber 75 mm M3 tank gun as the main gun. The engine was a Continental radial 9-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine.
- Three companies were responsible for production, and by November 1943, they had produced a total of over 6,000 vehicles.

[About the model]
- The model is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces in 1/72 scale the M4 Sherman, a tank developed and deployed by the US military during World War II.
- Among them, the M4A1 type equipped with a 75mm gun on a cast hull is modeled.
- The kit parts are molded from plastic that is color-matched to the olive drab used on U.S. military vehicles.
- This is a kit that is easy to work on with a limited number of parts.
- The overall length including the barrel is approximately 8cm, the overall width is approximately 3.6cm, and the curved style with a cast body on the upper part of the vehicle is faithfully reproduced.
- Even after completion, the turret can rotate 360 degrees and the gun barrel can be moved up and down.
- The undercarriage is also realistically modeled. The track parts are made of a flexible plastic belt system.
- Also includes one commander figure.
- Markings are provided in the form of decals for vehicles of the 3rd Infantry Division in France in 1944.
