- This book is a collection of structure images that are believed to be necessary for ground modelers to recreate nostalgic Japanese landscapes.
- There are many books on railway vehicles, but it is surprisingly difficult to find records of railway structures, especially the nostalgic buildings and scenery that remained from the latter half of the Showa era through to the Heisei era.
- The scenery at the station and the view from the station towards the city change daily, and buildings that were there just a short time ago are demolished and replaced by new buildings.
- This is a full-color (with some black and white images) collection of nostalgic scenes, focusing on station buildings, railway facilities, and buildings in front of stations and along the street, which appear to have disappeared without being recorded.
- The first volume includes a wide range of information, from train stations in the Kanto area to buildings that make up cityscapes and accessories, and also includes illustrations based on actual measurements.

- Hand-drawn illustration by Rail Classic based on a sketch by Chitetsu Corporation.
1. Create a 1/80 scale digital drawing based on the sketch.
2. The enlarged printout is then hand-drawn using Japanese tracing paper called "zubikishi."
3. When laying out the image on the magazine page, return it to 1/80 size.
- The elaborate manufacturing process. It is packed with analog information with a sense of flavor, and I think it will be very useful as reference material for model making.
