- The second generation Subaru Impreza was born in 2000.
- The WRX STi, the most powerful model designed to compete in the WRC (World Rally Championship), was continued from the first generation model, and in 2002 it underwent a minor change with a significantly altered exterior, evolving into the Applied C, commonly known as the "tear-eyed" model.
- The WRX STi, made by Subaru Technica International (STi), features equal-length exhaust manifolds.
- In 2005, it underwent a further minor change to reach the Applied F, commonly known as the "Hawk Eye," and was a long-lived model that was sold until it underwent a full model change in 2007.

- TLV-NEO will be producing the second generation Impreza applied C and D models with new molds.
- The N336a was the top-grade WRX STi, while the N337a was the WRX STi spec C, which was thoroughly lightened and had improved reliability as the base model for motorsports.
- The rear spoiler and front bumper are made differently for each model, and the WRX STi features exclusive 17-inch aluminum wheels, while the WRX STi spec C features standard forged 17-inch aluminum wheels.
- Additionally, the roof ventilator on the WRX STi spec C is left in the open position.
- Be sure to collect both types and enjoy the difference in the equipment.
