- This is the McLaren F1 Road Car 1994, a 1/18 scale handmade model car by EIDOLON.
- This model is a faithful reproduction of the McLaren F1, a super sports car designed by Gordon Murray.
- The exterior of the F1 is known for not having any aerodynamic parts, and is composed of simple yet gentle curves and unique character lines, so we are particular about expressing this.
- The windows are made of molded plastic parts that excel at expressing three-dimensional curves and creating a flush surface feel with the body.
- The headlight covers are also created using a similar technique.
- The tires are 17-inch, 45% flattened tires which may look somewhat classical from a modern perspective, and the wheels that are paired with them are also of ordinary design, except for the fact that they are center-locking. However, these have not been made larger in diameter to make them look good on the model, and attention has been paid to recreating the original appearance of the McLaren F1 from 30 years ago, including the vehicle height.
- The Brembo monoblock calipers and drilled rotors visible through the wheel are made from a combination of resin and metal parts, with a focus on texture.
- This product is a proportionate model with no opening or closing parts, but the engine visible through the rear window, the exhaust pipes visible through the fins and the grill mesh on the rear back are sculpted and painted to appear as three-dimensional as possible.
