- This is an open-top wagon that was improved from the Tom 5000, which was introduced in 1917.
- The frame and shoe-type bearings are thinner than those of the Tom 5000.
- The undercarriage is replicated with cardboard, including the brake system.
- The bearings are made of cardboard to recreate the link-type bearings, and metal pivot supports are included.
