- Introducing the new 1/72 Vultee Vengeance Mk.II from Ukraine's Drawings.
- The Vengeance was a dive bomber developed by the American Vultee company and used primarily by the Royal Air Force and the Royal Australian Air Force.
- Vultee received an order from France and developed a new dive bomber, the Model 72 (V-72), which was equipped with a powerful Wright R2600 engine, had strong armament and a sturdy airframe. However, after France surrendered to Germany, the Royal Air Force ordered the aircraft instead, under the name Vengeance.
Although nearly 2,000 of these aircraft were produced in the United States, they were rarely used in combat and were instead used as reserve or training aircraft.
- However, deliveries began in 1942 and the Royal Air Force used them mainly in Burma and India, while the Royal Australian Air Force mainly deployed them on the Papua New Guinea front.
- The kit comes with paint mask stickers, four types of Royal Australian Air Force decals, and etched parts.
- All control surfaces are separate parts, the bomb bay doors come with two versions to choose from - open or closed, and the canopy can also be fitted in either an open or closed position.
- When completed, the total length will be approximately 168mm and the total width approximately 203mm.
