[About the actual car]
- The 783 series, nicknamed the Hyper Salon, is an AC express train from JR Kyushu that was introduced in 1988.
- Its development began as a replacement for the 485 series during the pre-privatization era of Japanese National Railways, and the design incorporates specifications used in current vehicles, such as a stainless steel body and a design capable of operating at 130km/h.
- Its excellent design has undergone various modifications and continues to be in use at the forefront even now, nearly 40 years after its introduction.
