- While the size, transformation pattern, and basic structure using some die-cast alloys follow the original toy, the Ideal Cordon toy has been released with updated joint movement and gimmicks for easier posing.
- The product is a thorough homage to the original, from the packaging to the styrofoam tray, and even more so than the reproduction version, it brings back the excitement of opening a Transformers product back in the 80s.
- Cordon was born as the third car robot product, a police car type, and although it was not introduced as a Transformer, its character recognition has been increasing in recent years.
- This product is the first to be based on Cordon's original toys.
- The joints in the original product were limited in terms of posing, but these have been made movable, allowing for more flexible posing.
- A new [Human/Police Officer Type] has been added, which was not included at the time. Both forms can be mounted in the mobile cockpit.
- A plated Speed Trap Gun, the same type as Lambo, is included. In addition, the punch firing gimmick has been eliminated, and instead the fists can be stored inside the arms for complete transformation.
- It also comes with a large attachable punch that allows you to recreate the original specifications.
- The robot body also has the familiar "secret emblem" attached, and when you warm it with your fingers the legion mark appears.
- The parts that were stickers on the original toy have been recreated with relief sculpting and painting, and stickers that you can apply as you like are also included.
- Joint holes for a stand (sold separately) have been added to the back, allowing you to display it in action poses.
- The package illustration is a new drawing based on the image of the time, and a collection card featuring the same illustration is also included.
