- [Gamera 1996 (G2)], sculpted and produced by Yuji Sakai, is now available as a painted, finished product measuring approximately 32cm in height!

- The 20cm soft vinyl kit [Gamera 1996], sculpted by Yuji Sakai, was released as a garage kit during the release of the 1996 Daiei (now KADOKAWA) film [Gamera 2: Attack of Legion] and made a huge impact on fans. It is still popular today as a masterpiece.
- This prototype was created by Sakai himself, who conducted thorough research on the set at the time, and is a perfect reproduction down to the smallest detail of the costume used in the filming.
- After 29 years, aiming for even greater perfection, the elite Kaiyodo modeling team has brought it back to life as a painted, finished product, incorporating new materials under the full supervision of Mr. Sakai! This product, with its brushed-up details, is a new prototype by Mr. Sakai that could only be made now.
- The original model was digitized using the latest 3D scanning method, CT scanning, and enlarged from the original size of 190mm to 320mm. The mold was then directly created by baking the 3D printer output. This was not used for a duplicate mass production mold, but instead was produced using only the original mold, aiming to reproduce the characteristics of the original as faithfully as possible. This minimizes the deformation and shrinkage that can be seen in soft vinyl products made using the orthodox lost wax method.
- Of course, the painting was also supervised by Sakai himself. Instead of the traditional painting process, the product was mass-produced with a quality that looked as if it had been hand-painted by a painter. You can enjoy the finish that feels like a one-off piece, not the mechanical finish seen in mass-produced products up until now.
