Introducing a new product from Ukrainian Ace: 1/72 Italian 105/28 field gun with dedicated trolley.
The 105/28 field gun is a heavy field gun developed in Italy in 1914.
Initially, the Italian Army's field artillery units were only equipped with howitzers, but they needed a cannon with a longer range than the enemy's howitzers.
Italy had formed the Triple Pact with Germany and the Austro-Hungarian Empire, but abandoned the Triple Pact and signed the Treaty of London with Great Britain, France, and Russia, obtaining the French-made Schneider 105mm cannon and developing the 105/28 field gun based on this.
The 105/28 field gun saw great success on the French front during World War I, and was subsequently used extensively in the Second Ethiopian War, the Spanish Civil War, and World War II, before being retired from active duty in 1951.
The kit we are introducing this time is the version with wooden wheels, allowing modellers to choose whether to display the vehicle on the move or in operation.
