Hobby Japan Vintage is a model magazine that focuses on the robot anime and plastic model series from the early 1980s, thoroughly reexamining the evolution of characters and plastic models from that era, along with the surrounding circumstances at the time.
Each issue features a large number of diverse examples of out-of-print kits of scales/characters from that era.
The magazine has also been well-received for its articles that delve deeply into Showa-era plastic models.
Supervision and example coordination was handled by Kakinuma Hideki.

[Thunderbirds] This magazine looks back on the history of Thunderbirds plastic models, featuring examples of older kits from Imai, Aoshima, and Bandai, as well as a kit to be released with a new mold by Bellfine in 2025, the 60th anniversary of the series' broadcast.
In particular, we will analyze the enthusiastic boom that occurred when the series was first aired in Japan in the 1960s, along with related products and the historical context of the time.
There will also be a section that provides a catalog-like explanation of the settings of various mecha in the film, and the special feature will cover all of the Thunderbirds mecha.
