[About the actual car]
BMW has a glorious history in touring car racing, and the model codenamed E46 was their flagship machine from the 1990s to the 2000s.
It was developed based on the fourth-generation BMW 3 Series that was released in 1999, and has been entrusted to many teams participating in touring car races around the world.
While most of the base vehicles for touring car racing are moving to the front-engine, front-wheel drive (FF) format, BMW is sticking to the front-engine, rear-wheel drive (FR) format.
It has earned the trust of drivers and teams who are looking for different handling characteristics than FF.
The Carly Motors BMW E46 competed in the Dutch touring car championship, the DTCC, from 1999 to 2003, and won the championship in 2001 with Tom Coronel at the wheel.

[About the model]
This model is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit of the BMW 320i E46, the car driven by Tom Coronel to victory in the 2001 Dutch Touring Car Championship (DTCC).
The simple and basic body style is realistically modeled.
This kit includes decals that recreate the color scheme of car number 29, entered by Germany's Team Schubert in the 2002 Macau Guia Race and driven by Franz Engstler.
The logo and paintwork of Watsons Water, a bottled water manufacturer headquartered in Hong Kong, give the finished product a different look from the kit.
Of course, the interior of the kit is equipped with a roll cage, bucket seats, various equipment, a dashboard, and more, accurately conveying the atmosphere of a racing model.
The underside of the chassis also features detailed floor panels, exhaust routing, suspension arms, and other three-dimensional expression that is not to be missed.

This kit also includes decals that reproduce the color scheme of the car driven by Engstler in the 2002 Macau Guia Race.
