Product Description
Starting with the publication of the 17th Godzilla film, Godzilla vs. Biollante Completion, in December 2015, the book has become a series and has consistently featured Godzilla films from the Heisei era.
Meanwhile, in 2021, the third film in the series, King Kong vs. Godzilla, the first Showa-era work in the series, was published, followed by the fourth film, Mothra vs. Godzilla, and the fifth film, The Three Great Monsters: The Greatest Battle on Earth, which were all well received by Godzilla fans.
This time, we are planning a new project based on the popular Godzilla movie "War of the Monsters," in which Godzilla goes on a rampage in space for the first time and which features the unforgettable march from Akira Ifukube.
[War of the Monsters Completion] aims to be a definitive book on the film, packed with as many different elements as currently possible, just like previous Showa Godzilla books such as [King Kong vs. Godzilla] and [Mothra vs. Godzilla], and includes photogravure pages featuring many snapshots stored by TOHO Marketing and carefully selected, precious color snapshots, as well as three types of screenplay (draft, preliminary draft, and final draft), a project that explores the process of the production of the film, interviews with the diverse cast and staff that are currently able to be included, film data, filming schedules, location guides, promotional materials and prop introductions, and columns collecting trivia from our stellar lineup of writers.
