Product Description

The battleship Yamato, the symbol of the Combined Fleet, comes with etched parts!

- The product is based on the appearance of the ship on its final sortie to Okinawa in April 1945.
- When half of the secondary guns were removed and replaced with twin 12.7 cm anti-aircraft guns and 25 mm machine guns.
- Equipped with No. 21 radar on the bridge, No. 22 radar on the side of the bridge (after relocation), and No. 13 radar on the aft mast.

- The hull is composed of the starboard and starboard sides and the upper wooden deck.
- The portholes, a characteristic of the later stages of the war, are depicted blocked off with convex moldings.
-The wooden deck is expressed with convex molding.
- The parts, including the hull and bottom plate, are molded in gray.
-The bridge and chimney are made by joining the left and right sides together.

- Equipment that represents the enhanced anti-aircraft armament at the final stage.
- The main gun barrel and canvas are one unit, and the elevation and depression angles are fixed in the locked position.
-Only two secondary guns were removed during the remodel, and the turret and barrel are integrated into one part.
- The triple 25mm machine gun (without shield) is available as a choice between a conventional molded part and a precisely sculpted 2018 molded part.
- The barrel elevation angle of the shielded triple 25mm machine gun can be selected from two positions: high elevation angle and locked position.
- The machine gun turrets installed on top of the main gun canopy and at the stern are reproduced using special parts.
- Two types of carrier-based floatplanes are included: the Zero-type observation plane and the Zero-type (three-seat) floatplane.
- The aircraft's molding color is gray.

- Three types of decals are included.
-Decals including naval ensigns, the Japanese flag, and carrier-based aircraft markings.
- Navy flags are available in three sizes. 1/700 scale versions of the actual sizes of 10cm, 6cm, and 3cm are included.
- Includes the Hinomaru flag used on aircraft carriers, friendly identification bands (yellow bands), etc., and the Hinomaru flag also includes the version without the white border from the later stages of the war.
- Decals including draft markings, the chrysanthemum crest on the bow, and the ship's name on the stern (in two colors: gold and solid in naval colors).
-Decals included to easily represent the walking area on the aircraft work deck at the rear of the ship.

The molded parts come in two colors: gray and transparent.
