JR East Shinkansen E8 Series (Finished Model)

[About the actual vehicle]
The E8 series is a new type of train for the Yamagata Shinkansen and began operation in March 2024.
Compared to the E3 series previously used on the Yamagata Shinkansen, this new train features high-speed operation of up to 300 km/h on the Tohoku Shinkansen section between Tokyo and Fukushima, and includes power outlets at every seat, resulting in shorter travel times and improved service.
Endo will be producing this E8 series model.
Enjoy operating it in its original short formation, as well as in coupled operation with previously released E5 and H5 series trains.

Made primarily using brass material.
The car body and front section were manufactured using press molding and lost-wax casting.
Interior lighting: Endo interior lighting (chip LED type)

Dolly: Die-cast, custom-made product
Pantograph: PS-209 (fixed type)
Power: Canon EN22 high-speed motor + Φ10.5mm disc wheels + WB28.5mm MP gear
Other: Wiper wipers already installed

*The motor is the same as that used in the E5 and E6 series.
