Introducing the new 1/48 scale P-400 Airacobra from Arma Hobby of Poland.
The P-400 was a re-import of the P-39 Airacobra, which had been exported to the UK and was then adopted by the US Army Air Forces. Instead of the 37mm cannon that was fitted to the US P-39, it was equipped with a 20mm Hispano cannon with a higher rate of fire.
The P-400 was primarily used in the South Pacific theater, where it excelled at low altitudes, intercepting carrier-based bombers and attack aircraft attacking American ships.
The kit comes with paint mask stickers, metal balls for weights, and three types of US military decals.
Optional parts such as two types of exhaust pipes, three types of propellers, drop tanks, and bombs are also included.
The left and right cockpit doors, rudder and elevator are separate parts.
