The protagonist, Alji, is a knight who belongs to the guild `pisolino corvo (crow's nap)`.
This guild is a jack-of-all-trades, undertaking all sorts of tasks regardless of the content.
He is derided and shunned by his ambitious colleagues as an unscrupulous "garbage dump crow."
For this reason, the guild is made up of people who have retired from being royal knights and people who have been expelled from other guilds.
There are a lot of people who are a little quirky.

At the request of the guild, Alji is sent to work as the owner of an abandoned inn in the Kingdom of Vallois.
As a [jack of all trades], it wasn't uncommon for him to receive such requests, regardless of whether his main job was as a knight or not.

And the fact that there was a request from the guild meant that this case had a `reason`.
I knew from experience.
Does "wakeari" mean the inn, the guests who are about to arrive, or both?
The only way to find out is to see it with your own eyes...

When Alji arrives at the inn he was sent to, he immediately encounters the reason.
The inn had been abandoned for a long time and was covered in dust and cobwebs, making it look like a ruin.
It was an abandoned inn where no one should be, but there were signs that someone was living there.
While exploring the inn with increased vigilance, Alji comes across a girl carrying a sword.
