[About the actual car]
The D5 is one of the medium-sized bulldozers in the lineup of Caterpillar, a company known for its many construction machines.
As the successor to the D6, a masterpiece bulldozer that has been around since 1935, this next-generation bulldozer comes equipped with the latest technology as standard.
The engine is a 7.1-liter diesel engine.
It offers excellent fuel economy and is paired with a fully automatic transmission.
In addition, the dozer blade is equipped with a VPAT (variable pitch angle tilt) dozer, which increases work efficiency.
Caterpillar was founded in 1925 and will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2025.
To commemorate this, Caterpillar unveiled a limited edition vehicle painted in a special Centennial Gray color reminiscent of the original color of its products at the time of its founding, attracting much attention.

This is a pre-painted, pre-assembled die-cast model of the CAT D5 LGP VPAT bulldozer, a bulldozer from Caterpillar's lineup, reproduced in 1/87 scale.
This model is finished in Centennial Gray, a limited edition color offered by Caterpillar, which celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2025.
