The Celica GT-FOUR (ST205) was developed by Toyota for the WRC, World Rally Championship, and was introduced in mid-1994.
It was developed based on the sixth generation model of Toyota's specialty car, the Celica, which was redesigned in 1994.
The engine is a modified 1988cc 3S-GT.
It was turbocharged and produced 295 horsepower.
It uses full-time four-wheel drive, which transmits power to the road through all four wheels.
The front suspension was a superstrut and the rear was a MacPherson strut.
They began competing in the second half of 1994. In 1995, Didier Auriol, Juha Kankkunen and Armin Schwarz were the regular drivers.
Auriol took the victory in the 1995 Tour de Corse.
