Chamfering the edges of the holes will improve the appearance when detail-up parts are embedded.
It can also be used to process homemade parts made from plastic materials.
The tip is made of tungsten steel, so it is also useful for model making other than plastic models, such as FRP and carbon-based materials.

It cannot be used with general pin vises available on the market.
