Product Description

The Gotha Go 242B-2 is a medium-sized transport glider developed as a successor to the DFS 230.
It was developed in 1941 to carry a crew of 20 and supplies, including light vehicles (Kübelwagen).
The B2 model had modified landing gear to improve stability.
Their operational deployments were primarily to transport troops and supplies to isolated units in North Africa, the Aegean Sea, Crete, and on the Eastern Front.
However, as air superiority gradually declined, large-scale airborne operations also began to fade.
