Product Description
This model is based on the Crown patrol car used by the traffic system, as well as the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Highway Patrol vehicle and the Hokkaido Prefectural Police's gray undercover traffic vehicle.
Kanagawa Prefectural Police vehicles are hybrid types and are equipped with an electronic display called a patrol sign on the inside of the rear window that appears in front of vehicles violating traffic laws and gives instructions.
Hokkaido Prefectural Police vehicles are undercover vehicles operated by the Traffic Police Unit.
When the 220 series Crown was first deployed, traffic undercover vehicles were only available in three body colors: white, black, and silver, but in recent years gray has been added.
