Product Description
This is a 16 gauge, 1/80 scale model.
[About the actual vehicle]
The Moni 13 series was created to replace aging wooden baggage cars in the Tokyo metropolitan area and to meet the need for baggage cars in the Osaka area due to electrification. Between 1932 and 1941, 30 units were converted from early Moha 10 cars (towards the end, as the early cars were eliminated through modifications, other cars were converted) which had narrow passenger doors and were inconvenient to use.
This kit reproduces the 13014-13020 trains that were modified in 1934 and deployed on the Yamanote, Chuo, and Keihanshin lines.
[About the model]
The roof, underfloor equipment, and ventilators were 3D printed, while the sides, front, and floorboards are made of art post paper and snow matte paper.
