Product Description
Introducing Godzilla (2003) from the Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection, a soft vinyl series sculpted and produced by Yuji Sakai! This pre-painted, soft vinyl figure uses the same mold as the garage kit released by Yuji Sakai's Modeling Studio in 2004.
This product is inspired by the fierce battle scene between Godzilla and Mothra in the city center from Godzilla vs. Mothra vs. Mechagodzilla: Tokyo SOS (released in 2003). Sakai has beautifully recreated Godzilla gazing up at Mothra. Every detail, from the distinctive neck shape and sharp dorsal fin of Godzilla (2003) to the chest scar he sustained in the previous film, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, is meticulously recreated, resulting in a high level of perfection that makes it seem as if it were a scene straight out of the movie. Be sure to enjoy Sakai's stunning sculptural beauty, which exudes a powerful presence.
This time too, we converted his cast prototype into wax and created a master mold. The product is made only from that master mold, minimizing wear and tear during the soft vinyl production and focusing on reproducing the details as much as possible.
