The BMW E46 model was a flagship machine that was active from the 1990s to the 2000s, boasting a glorious history in touring car racing.
Developed based on the fourth-generation BMW 3 Series, which debuted in 1999, it was entrusted to many teams participating in touring car races around the world.
While most touring car racing base vehicles have shifted to the front-engine, front-wheel-drive (FF) configuration, BMW has stuck to the front-engine, rear-wheel-drive (FR) configuration.
It garnered high trust from drivers and teams seeking handling characteristics different from those of front-wheel drive vehicles.
From 1999 to 2003, the Curly Motors BMW E46 competed in the Dutch national touring car championship, DTCC, and won the championship in 2001 with Tom Coronel at the wheel.

[About the model]
This model is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit of the BMW 320i E46, the car driven by Tom Coronel to victory in the 2001 Dutch Touring Car Championship (DTCC).
The simple and basic body style has been realistically modeled.
This kit includes decals to recreate the livery of the German Brinkmann Motorsport car that competed in the 2001 DTC German Touring Car Cup.
This set includes two cars: car No. 11 driven by female driver Ellen Lohr and car No. 22 driven by Thomas Winkelhock. You can choose which one you want to build.
Of course, the kit also features detailed representations of the interior and the underside of the chassis. Along with the body reproduction, these details are not to be missed.
