Product Description

This parts set allows you to recreate the appearance of Japanese National Railways (JNR) vehicles as they were in service from the end of the JNR era through the 1990s.
It is possible to easily convert the "Tokai-style" train cars, which were widely used on express and suburban lines throughout Japan, to sealed beam headlights.
Additionally, the kit will include parts to recreate the vehicle that operated in the Kanto region and was nicknamed "Iron Mask" after undergoing front-end reinforcement work.
This set includes parts that can be used in a variety of vehicles.

[Kit Features]
- Express and commuter trains can be modified to resemble their appearance from around the 1990s.
- Can be used with commercially available 165 series, 115 series, 457 series, and other "Tokai-style" train cars.
- Parts configuration designed to accommodate modifications such as converting to sealed beam headlights, adding an iron mask-like design, removing the defroster, and converting to a 169 series design.
