Product Description
[About the actual vehicle]
The Salo 37 was a second-class passenger car, with 12 units manufactured in 1929 and 1931 for use on the Keihin Line.
In 1937, the second-class carriages on the Keihin-Tohoku Line were abolished, and all but two carriages underwent downgrade modifications, such as being converted to three-door carriages and having long seats. The remaining two carriages were transferred to the Yokosuka Line.
The two cars were renumbered as Salo 15 after the war and operated on the Ito Line and other lines, but were downgraded in 1963 and disappeared by 1966.
This kit reproduces the specifications of the 4th year model with rain gutters installed.
