Seibu Railway 4000 Series (Finished Model)

The Seibu 4000 series was created in 1988 for the purpose of transporting tourists on the Seibu Chichibu Line and Chichibu Railway. The first batch consisted of early cars (4001F-4007F) and later cars (4009F-4015F), and in 1992, four more second batches (4017F-4023F) were added, bringing the total number of trains manufactured to 12.
U-TRAINS produced models of both the unrefurbished and refurbished versions of the first batch of trains (early and late periods) in 2010.
This time, we will be releasing three versions of the product: the unmodified version, the updated version, and the current specification, in addition to the second-generation model as a finished product.
Additionally, as a limited-edition special edition, we will be producing the 4017F train in the E851 electric locomotive livery to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the opening of the Chichibu Line.

Updated cars: This model reproduces the updated cars that underwent modifications for one-man operation starting around 2002, including the conversion of the car ends to long seats, the removal of vending machines, the omission of the end stripe, the installation of PT7116C single pantographs, the installation of CU721 type air conditioners with handrails, and the removal of the end handrails on the M2 intermediate cars and Tc even-numbered leading cars.

Destination display: Rapid Express (Mitsumine/Nagatoro)

The finished product will have the motor installed in the intermediate pantograph car (M1).
The power source is a combination of Katsumi ACE gears and a Canon EN22 motor.
The wheels will be the corrugated gray type.
The headlights, taillights, front destination display, and side destination display will illuminate.
The circuit board is manufactured by U-TRAINS and uses a circuit designed to reduce lighting flicker during operation.
The FS372 dedicated bogie uses an original product in which the obstacle deflector of the leading bogie is molded as a single unit.
The couplers on the lead cars are dummy electrical connectors, and will be manufactured with the ability to be replaced with Katsumi custom couplers when connecting lead cars together.
