- Masterpiece 16 Series 1/80 16.5mm Gauge Metal Kit

[About the prototype]
These trains were acquired from Seibu Railway's 401 series in 1991 and modified at the company's Hikone factory. They consist of 13 two-car sets, each featuring a Moha 800-Moha 1800 car.
The front end was similar to the 220 series, with the headlights and taillights positioned at the waist and featuring a three-sided angled gable, but there was no gangway door.
In addition, various modifications have been made, including work to accommodate one-person operation.
Furthermore, due to differences in the morphology of the original 401 series trains and the long-term nature of the modifications, variations in appearance can be seen from one train set to the next.

Although there are differences in roof shape and other aspects, this project will use a vehicle with a standard roof as the prototype.
The following are generally included:
801F, 803F, 807F, 811F
The 801F initially had a white body with a stripe painted in the Lions' team colors.

[Kit Overview]
It features a lost-wax cast front, a pre-bent brass etched body, and a combination of nickel silver etched parts.
The rooftop air conditioner, ventilators, driver's cab, underfloor equipment, etc., are all made of white metal and are included in the kit.
A trolley made of white metal is also included.

Power-related components are not included in the kit.
It is compatible with MP gears, etc.
