Product Description

This is a 1/18 scale handmade model car of the [CBY Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (AE86) (3-door)] produced by [EIDOLON].
This model faithfully reproduces the [CBY Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (AE86) (3Door)], a demo car from [CBY (Crystal Body YOKOHAMA)], a well-known professional shop for the AE86, which easily achieves sub-1-minute lap times at Tsukuba Circuit.
Carbon fiber parts are represented by carbon fiber pattern decals, and other logos are also printed decals with a clear finish, all of which are then coated with a clear paint.
All windows are made using molded plastic parts to achieve a gently curved surface that harmonizes with the body lines.
The actual vehicle features overfenders that widen each side by more than 50mm, which are officially approved (it has obtained a 3-number license plate), and the RS Watanabe forged wheels, Forging R, that fit underneath boast sizes of 9.5J at the front and 10J at the rear.
For the model, we used molded ABS parts to ensure a sharp spoke reproduction and to support the weight of the 1/18 scale model.
The interior, which requires even more complex prototype creation work than the exterior, with the rear seats and unnecessary trim removed and various parts exposed, was designed based on 3D scanning of the actual car, just like the exterior.
The only parts of the interior that retain any resemblance to the original are the upper part of the instrument panel and the door trim.
You can see features such as Bride bucket seats, a shift knob that looks like it's growing directly out of the floor, a roll cage, digital gauges, and additional monitors.
