Seibu Railway 101 Series (Finished Model)

The Seibu 101 series was manufactured in 1969 to coincide with the opening of the Chichibu Line and was Seibu Railway's first full-fledged high-performance train equipped with a 150kW motor and dynamic brakes.
In the previous U-TRAIN production, we created the first in a series of early 101 series cars, featuring non-air-conditioned cars, prototype air-conditioned cars, and mass-produced air-conditioned cars, all in their original specifications.
This time, as the second installment in our 101 series early model trains, we will be producing three types of trains that represent their later years after special repair work: a two-tone color scheme, a single yellow color scheme, and a复刻 (reproduction) red livery of the 159 series.
Compared to the first release, this model will reproduce various features depending on the item being produced, including the replacement of the crew door with a balancer similar to the new 101 series, changes to the roof piping of the pantograph car, the CU72C type cooler with a stainless steel cover, changes to the leg shape of the cooler running board, replacement with an HB2000 compressor, and the handwritten and simplified markings on the car body.

Train set 175: This time, we will be creating a model of the train as it was around 2000, when it was in a single yellow livery and operated on the Ikebukuro and Shinjuku lines.
Of the prototype air-conditioned trains, sets 175 and 177, which were not used as the base for the first batch of 4000 series trains, were modified between 1987 and 1988 to use the same centralized air conditioning system as the mass-produced air-conditioned trains. At that time, square-shaped ventilators similar to those on the new 101 series were installed.

The power unit will consist of Katsumi ACE gears and a Canon EN22 motor, and the bogies will be original products from U-TRAINS.
The lighting system will illuminate the headlights, marker lights, and taillights.
The interior lights are equipped with a dedicated lighting circuit board that incorporates a circuit to reduce flickering during operation.
The headlights, destination indicator, taillights, and marker lights (express train lights), which are used when the train is operating as a local train, can be turned on and off using switches located under the floor.
The couplers on the lead cars are dummy couplers at the time of shipment, but they can be replaced with Katsumi custom couplers when adding more cars to the train.
