Product Description
The UH-1 is a multi-purpose helicopter developed in the United States. Its official nickname in the U.S. military is Iroquois, but it is widely known as the Huey.
The UH-1, adopted by the U.S. Army in 1959, saw action in the Vietnam War and other conflicts.
Although it is currently being replaced by its successor, the UH-60, it remains in active service in many countries, including the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.
The UH-1H is a variant of the UH-1D with the T53-L-13 engine replaced, and deliveries to the U.S. Army began in 1967.
The Hellenic Army's 1st Army Aviation Brigade introduced the UH-1H in 1969.
