This model recreates the Type RS in Pure White and the Type RBATHUSR R in Sunburst Yellow, both from the later model of the RX-7 (FD3S), which had reached the then-regulated maximum output of 280ps, and was a special limited edition of only 500 units.
The Type RS is a higher-end trim level in the later model, emphasizing performance.
Standard equipment includes 17-inch aluminum wheels and a large rear spoiler.
The Type R BATHURST R is a special limited edition model with only 500 units available.
It is equipped with specially designed height-adjustable dampers and has a special decal applied to the B-pillar.
Sunburst Yellow is the signature color of this trim level and is the only yellow option available in the later models.
