Product Description
We are pleased to announce a new product from Czech company Fly: a 1/32 scale Hawker Hurricane Mk.IV/V injection kit.
The Hurricane Mk.IV was the last mass-produced fighter-bomber in the Hurricane series, with 524 units produced from December 1942 to 1944.
The Mk.IV, equipped with additional armor plating around the engine and radiator, and with only two 7.7mm Browning machine guns for spotting rifles as fixed armament in the wings, could be fitted with a variety of mission-specific armaments under the wings (250-pound or 500-pound bombs, 40mm anti-tank guns, 45-gallon or 90-gallon drop tanks, and eight 3-inch aerial rockets).
The Mk.V was a fighter-bomber planned for the Burma campaign, but it never went into mass production. It was characterized by its four-blade propeller.
The product we are introducing today is the Mk.IV/V, which includes newly molded parts.
The kit includes two types of propellers, aerial rockets, drop tanks, and a 40mm anti-tank gun.
Additionally, photo-etched and resin parts, and seven types of markings (4 x British Mk.IV, 1 x Argentine Mk.IV, 1 x Yugoslavian Mk.IV, and 1 x British Mk.V prototype) are included.
