[About the actual vehicle]
These were standard passenger cars known as the "Basic Type of the Railway Bureau," which were produced from the late Meiji period to the Taisho period, and could be seen all over Japan.
This is a combined first and second class passenger car of the same series as the HoHa 12000, and three units were manufactured in 1915 (Taisho 4).
This time, we're releasing a model featuring the automatic coupler conversion, skylight windows, end windows, and air brakes.
This generally represents its appearance from the early Showa period.

[About the model]
This is an unpainted kit primarily consisting of laser-cut paper parts, with 3D printed detail parts.
The bogie was manufactured using a method that combines an etched frame and 3D printed parts, based on the [Meiji 45 (1912) type bogie].
Although the car body and floorboards are made of paper, the necessary strength is ensured through a structure that involves gluing multiple sheets together and the selection of appropriate materials.
A masking sheet for painting different grades is included.
