During World War II, in order to provide aerial support to the German Africa Corps (DAK) deployed on the North African front, German Luftwaffe air and ground units were also deployed into desert areas.
To cope with the harsh tropical climate, soldiers were issued lightweight tropical shirts and shorts, as well as piste helmets (tropical helmets) to protect them from the sun.
This product is a 1/35 scale resin figure that realistically reproduces a German Air Force officer from World War II wearing tropical equipment.
The figure is sculpted in a highly realistic pose, holding binoculars and gazing intently upwards, evoking a scene of reconnaissance or scouting at a desert airfield.
This is a highly recommended and noteworthy product, perfect for creating dioramas by combining it with German aircraft of the same scale (such as the Bf109 Tropical and Ju87 Stuka) and various vehicles from the African front.
