The Type 16 Mobile Combat Vehicle is a wheeled combat vehicle of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force that combines high firepower and mobility, equipped with a 105mm rifled cannon. With eight-wheel drive and combat tires, it can travel on Japan's highway network and other roads at a maximum speed of 100 km/h, enabling rapid deployment. It is the vehicle that spearheads defensive combat operations.
