The Danganronpa series is a high-speed mystery action game where you expose the culprit in a murder case by refuting the inconsistencies in your opponent's arguments during class trials.
This game adds new elements such as [Kyouki Mode], where the story unfolds with completely different victims, perpetrators, and even tricks, and an evolved [World Map].
New elements

- Kyoki Mode
You can experience two different scenarios: the [Original Mode], which is a revamped version of [Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Academy] released in 2012, with updated visuals and presentation for current-generation consoles, and the [Kyouki Mode], which features a new story based on [Super Danganronpa 2].
The scenario can be selected on the mode selection screen at the start of the game, and Kyoki Mode is also available from the beginning.
Kyoki Mode depicts a story in which the victim, perpetrator, and tricks are completely different, all triggered by a certain incident.
The volume is equal to or greater than the original mode, and is approximately 20% higher in comparison.

- World Map
The [world map] used for moving between areas has also been significantly improved.
While the world map in [Super Danganronpa 2] was a side-scrolling map, this game features a top-down 3D map, making it easier to understand the relative locations of places on the island.
You can move around the world map by running, or by instantly moving to a designated location—you can control it in your preferred way.
The 3D map, which you navigate from a first-person perspective, has also been redesigned to give you a deeper sense of the tropical atmosphere.
Character Illustrations: In this work, the character illustrations have been newly drawn.
