Product Description

Italian precision resin model brand Tecnomodel is adding five variations (TM18-398A to E) of the March 707, an open prototype racing car that competed in the North American Can-Am and European Interserie in the early 1970s, to its 1/18 series.
The actual car was equipped with a large-displacement Chevrolet V8 engine and was developed in accordance with the Group 7 regulations of the time.
The lineup covers the differences in appearance for each year and race, from the red press color version unveiled at the 1970 launch (A), to H. Kelleners' No. 1 car that won the Nürburgring race that year (B), to C. Emon's No. 77 car that came in 4th at the Can-Am Laguna Seca race that year (C), to G. Dewar's No. 47 car that competed in the 1971 Can-Am Road America race (D), and to S. Sklenner's version that competed in the 1973 Interserie Hockenheim race (E).
Both models utilize the properties of resin material to accurately reproduce the front stabilizer and flat body lines.
From the placement of racing numbers and sponsor logos according to each specification, to the reproduction of the simple cockpit instruments and seat belts, the meticulous finish meets the standards of a collector's item.
