This is out of the blue, but it seems like I can't rise my right arm above the shoulder. Yup, Tomeko here, Hi everyone!
Right right.
The other day, Azone International was kind enough to lend us their latest doll, Ellen - Time of Eternal, for sample image photography. So
I thought I'd show it off here!

Here is the photo of Lady Ellen, front on.
She's a whooping 50cm doll! Such volume.
I was looking for a doll stand to use for her... and this is what caught my eye first.

We can't have out lady worth over 40000yen standing on a 300yen stand!
(And being in a 50cm class, she does weigh a bit, too)

So we will be using this stand here, for our dear lady.
It looks very sturdy and is stable.
So please take your time and enjoy the beautiful images of our lady Ellen.
So that's a few shots of her gorgeous face.
Her hair comes down to her waist, you can feel happy just combing it.
Of course, she is pretty even without her cardigan on.
Inside her skirt, she is wearing drawers. Made with a luminous texture, and the frills are so fancy too. Being decent even in places where
people normally wouldn't look, the manner of a true lady indeed.
The fabric used for the pinafore dress and the sewing is very nice. I guess the garment must be of high standard to be worn by the lady.
I'm sure this masterpiece won't stretch or have its hem frayed etc.
*please note that we have placed a core at the center of the dress for the photo, the dress won't stand on its own, of course.
The feet.
With detailed knitting of the stocking, and the texture of her shoes, they are of exceptionally high quality!
Oh and by the way, lady Ellen has a very smooth straight blond hair, so you can play with it like the following image.
I'm afraid its just a quick arrangement, but as she is just gorgeous, I'm sure there are many ways you could play with her.
...anyway.
These 50cm ladies, starting with lady Ellen here, are made with greater detail, and more natural body line compared to the standard 1/6
scale dolls.
Taking the blouse for example, it's not as deformed as the 1/6 scale dolls, giving a very smooth natural look over all.
It's hasn't just gotten bigger! (speaks with passion)
And, the most attractive part of it being a large size is...
You can hug it!
Yup, I think that's most important.
Being able to sit her down on your lap and comb her hair, something that can't be achieved by anything smaller, I have to say.
The 50cm series has just begun, so lets look forward to the development of the series, in both clothing and the doll itself.
