From the Lyric of some Songs
Good Evening, Kapinozuka here.
Today at Hobby Search, there is a huge load of orders to send out, becoming a situation indescribable by just words alone. And as such, I'm here blogging while counting down for the last train.

The other day (well actually, quite a while ago), I was listening to some songs and there was the following lines in the lyric.

♪ Rounding up bodyguards and got on the Keiyo Line
♪ Without a disguise, Kissed the Lalaport

...huh!?

Ke...Ke...Ke...Keiyo Line!?

I really didn't expect the phrase Keiyo Line to appear in a lyric of a song.

There might be something that comes to mind for those that lives in the Kanto region, but for those outside Kanto, you may be left clueless.

So here it is.

A JR Line that connects Tokyo Station and Soga Station, running along the Tokyo Bay.

The line color is wine red.
Along the route, there are the following attractions.

- Shin Kiba Station: Yumenoshima Park, Studio Coast
- Kasai Rinkai Koen Station: Kasai Rinkai Park
- Maihama Station: Tokyo Disney Resort
- Minami Funabashi Station: Tokyo Bay Lalaport, Funabashi Auto, Funabashi Race Course
- Kaihin Makuhari Station: Makuhari Messe, Chiba Marine Stadium
- Chiba Minato Station: Chiba Port Tower
- Soga Station: Fukuda Electric Arena

You really couldn't visit all that in a day, I guess.

Its not as well-known as the Yamanote Line nor the Chuo Line, but it does have quite some popular spots. That's what Keiyo Line is.

And this Keiyo Line, it has been released as Train Models a lot for some reason.

J.R. Series 209-500 Keiyo Line (Tomix)

The Series209 No.500s are the train that crossed from Sobu Line, to Keihin Tohoku Line to Keiyo Line. From Tomix, its appearance of 2009 as present, as been reproduced.
J.R. Series 209-500 Keiyo Line (Micro Ace)

Same as above, the series 209 nos.500.
From Micro Ace, the appearance just after it had transferred from Keihin Tohoku Line to Keiyo Line has been reproduced.
JR Series 205 Keiyo Line (Kato)

Keiyo Line also has series 205 running on it too.
Kato has reproduced the train with the small door windows, as it was transferred from the Yamanote line.
JR series 205 Keiyo Line (Micro Ace)

Another series 205.
Micro Ace has reproduced the formation that was right after it was transferred from Yamanote line. The form of the windows are different.
JR 205 Keiyo Line (Kato)

This is also a series 205, but is a formation of Original Keiyo Line design. Been produced by Kato. The front has white border, and has been changed to a slightly round design. The windows of the door have also gotten larger.
JR series 201 Keiyo Line (Kato)

Currently the Chuo Line is the topic of discussion with the series 201, but Keiyo Line also has series 201 running on it too. Kato has once had a special project, where they released the series 201 in Keiyo Line Color (Sky Blue).

Of course, the Sky Blue train used by Keiyo Line before, the series 103, the series 255 such as Limited Express [Sazanami], the series 205 and series 103 that runs directly from Musashino Line etc., there are many train models related to the Keiyo Line. Other than that, there are also Keiyo Line trains in B Train and Pro-Z as well.

PLUS!

From Tomix, they have already announced the production of the series E233-5000s scheduled for debut in Keiyo Line this summer!

The latest model train of JR East that are active in the Chuo Line and Keihin Tohoku Line, brand new series E233 cars will be introduced to the Keiyo Line!
That on its own is a miracle...

Anyway, the Keiyo Line is HOT right now!

This brings great expectations to the Keiyo Line from now!

Oh and about the song mentioned at the beginning.

The title is called [Melon Tea], and is the work of Melon Kinen-Bi X Going Under Ground, that Kapinozuka so dearly loves.

Right then, see you.
