I didn't know the "Mickey Mouse Club" mentioned in the song actually existed.
Who is the leader of our club?

It's...

Mickey...
Mickey...
Mickey...
Mickey Mouse HOOOOOOOOOOOOO

So without further ado, today's figure is...
Nendoroid number 100!

Mickey Mouse!!!

This Nendoroid Mickey Mouse is even smaller and cuter than usual!
He's so cute! That's our club leader!

He doesn't have any hair (!) to get in the way of moving his joints all around.

I can almost hear him say,
Come on everbody, let's play! Hehe!
Characters with high-pitched voices like Mickey and Mario are pretty popular, huh?
This figure comes with alternate eyes so you can give him cute poses like this.
Starting with the 1939 animation short The Pointer, Mickey's solid black eyes were changed to what they are today.
His expressions are more human-like now, but I think the old Mickey is cute too.
Mickey has four fingers because where they originally tried animating him with five, it looked like he had six fingers.
Animation wasn't good enough back then to handle five fingers, so they gave him four.

Adorable option parts!
They look like they were pulled right out of Toontown!
The arms of the director's seat are modeled after Mickey's own arms.
They look ready to blast out any second.
Is that a tail on the camera? No, it's the plug!
And there are even little Mickey ears on the megaphone and clapper.

The production version will come with a different string on the megaphone so you can hang it around Mickey's neck too!

It also comes with a left hand part to hold the megaphone.
The great actor Mickey is also a director, it seems.

These option parts were newly designed by Disney for this Nendoroid.
Amazing... This man (mouse) has the landmark number 100 spot completely under control!

Now, Steamboat Willie (1928) is said to be Mickey's debut.
In this, he speaks words for the first time.
Here's a little quiz for you:
Which of the following was Mickey's first line?

1) Ah, yes. That leaves but three.
2) Hot dogs! Hot dogs!
3) You're so pathetic...
4) It seems luck is never on my side.
5) Wow, things are just terrible. Nobita is going to hang himself in 30 minutes.

The correct answer is...

Number 2, "Hot dogs, hot dogs!"

Congratulations to those of you who got it right!
Walt Disney himself was the voice of Mickey. (Some of you might already have known that.)
But did you know that Mickey's and Minnie's birthdays are on November 18, when Steamboat Willie was released?

By the way:
1 is Frieza's first line,
3 is Vegeta's first line,
4 is Char's first line,
and 5 is Doraemon's first line.
(I apologize if they're not exactly as you know them!)

If you picked any of these, prepare to get slimed.

But if you take a closer look (or even if you don't), Doraemon's line is really scary.
A weird robot suddenly informs a young boy of his impending death... I thought Doraemon was supposed to be for kids!

Well, that's it for introducing Mickey. ^o^

Oh, and if you like awesome looking Mickey, check this one out as well.
