[Additional Resources] About the Kato Series 113 Assy Parts
From Hobby Center Kato, we were informed of the Assy Parts. And out of these, there were also the items related to the Series 113 Nos.2000 Yokosuka Colors, so we will be dealing with those. Here is the information that couldn’t quite fit in the product page, so the extra information will be noted here. Please have a read if interested.

♦Assy Parts Compatibility Chart

There is a combination chart for the body, under floor set, and Bogie, for the Kato 10-807 Series 113-2000 Yokosuka Color (4-Car Set).

Format Body Under Floor Bogie Others
Kuha111-2043 4047-5A 4047-1C 4001-1D 4047G
Moha112-2074 4048-7A 4048-1B 4048ZD1
(x2)
11-420
Moha113-2074 4049-9A 4049-1C 4049-1D
Kuha111-2159 4051-5A 4047-1C 4001-1D 4047G

Now, if you intend to build the Moha112 as non-motored (i.e. trailer car), you will use the following combination.

Format Body Under Floor Bogie Others
Moha112-2074 4048-7A 28-148 11-420

♦Using [Assy Parts] Moha112 Trailer Chassis Set (Chassis, Under Floor Parts, Bogie) (for 1-Car)

(1) Reproducing a 2 formation of variable destinations

This is an item for swapping the motor parts with, in order to turn the Series Moha112(M) included in 10-807 Series 113-2000 Yokosuka Color (4-Car Set) or the Series 113-2000 Shonan Train (4-Car Set) into a trailer car.

Having 2 of series 113 Yokosuka Color Set and Shonan Color set each for reproducing an 8-car formation, there would be two motored cars Series Moha 113 included in the formation, causing it to be overpowered. So by turning one of the motored cars into a trailer car, you will be able to balance out the output power.

(2) Adding Assy Parts built Middle Car

Following the above, if you add the body and pantograph, you will be able to create a Moha112. You can also collect the Assy Parts to make a Moha113 as well. And then you can add the two middle-cars you made onto the 10-807 Series 113-2000 Yokosuka Color (4-Car Set) and turn it into a 6-car formation.

The Series 113 used in the Boso Region (Stationed at the Makuhari Car Center) has 6-car formation as well as the 4-car formations. And depending on the service diagram, they operate in 4-car, 6-car, 8-car (4car+4car), 10-car (4car+6car) for a total of 4 patterns of formations, so if you want to reproduce these, I recommend you to to collect the Assy parts and add the middle cars.

♦Compatibility of Assy Parts

Using it as the bottom part for α-model (*Not official by Kato)

Here at Hobby Search, we have some Series 111 kits by α-model.

- J.N.R. Electric Car Series 111 Lead Car (Kuha111) (2-Car Unassembled Kit)
- J.N.R. Electric Car Series 111 Middle Car (Moha110+Moha111) (2-Car Unassembled Kit)
- J.N.R. Electric Car Series 111 1st Class Middle Car Body Kit (Saro110 + Saro111)

These uncolored body kits only have the top parts as a set. The bottom parts such as bogies and under floor parts are not included, so they must be purchased separately to complete them. The Series 111 kits by α-model are compatible with the bottoms of Series 113 by both Kato and Tomix, so for those of you that wants to use the Kato parts as the bottom bit, I recommend you to use the Assy Parts related to series 113. The fine details may differ, but I believe these could be used for constructing the bottom parts of Kuha and Moha.

♦Support of the Additional Note

Other than the combination of the Assy Parts mentioned above, we are also taking other accessory parts used on the Kato Series 113, such as the Light Unit, Wireless Antennae, Signal Flue, Skirt, and Dummy Coupler etc. that we are taking reservations for, so if you have a need for them, please have a browse for them.

Also, you might get annoyed at the constant reminder, but the assembling process is to be done at your own supervision, so neither Hobby Search, nor the manufacturer will be able to take responsibility for any damages or injuries caused by the process.

The Assy Parts are produced at order, so Hobby Search is only intending to order the amount reserved. So when placing a reservation, please make sure that there are no mistake in the quantity to be reserved.
We plan to close the reservation around the 20th of October.
