Tosaka Rin -Unlimited Blade Works-!!!
From the theatrical release of
Fate/stay night - UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS, Rin Tosaka at 1/7 scale!
The painted sample was at the
Miyazawa Model Exhibition, but it's really a breathtaking figure. I stood there staring for a bit and forgot I was supposed to report.
It's based on the artwork for the movie (as seen above).
As you can tell by comparing,
it's an incredible reproduction...!
My heart beats faster when I look at this Rin... Is this... love...?"
And her face is so sexy!
This figure is great from any angle, but what left the biggest impression on me was her
twisting and weaving hair!
The dynamic lines and the color gradient creates some nice shades for her hair.
It's a lot of fun just following the flow of it!
The two tufts flying up on her left side really add to the dynamics of this figure.
It's a real gift to have sculptors who can create things like this.
The more I look at this, the more it becomes evident how amazing of a reproduction it is!
The base is based on her servant Archer's Reality Marble
Unlimited Blade Works.
And if you look closely, the three swords in the ground are actually different!
It's easy to take this kind of attention to little things for granted, but I, for one, respect our wonderful sculptors that pour their heart and soul into their work.
This sculptor is
Ken Yokota.
This is the rear view that you couldn't see in the artwork!
What seizes your attention, of course, should be the
skirt fitting right up against her behind!
