Following last week, there has been more new items flooding in, and the item that took the throne this time is Maxima by Kotobukiya! Alter’s Dizzy came 2nd, followed by Nendoroid Kyon at third!
So without further ado, let’s check out the exciting ranking of this week!
1st Place:
Maxima
From Kotobukiya, Maxima Enfield from Shining Hearts has already been turned into a figure, and has taken 1st place on the ranking! The transparent, charming expression illustrated by Tony had been reproduced very nicely, along with the
chest that might just overflow at any given moment! Gosh, one would wonder about the mechanism of her costume...
Of course, it’s not just her expression and the delicious breasts that are attractive, but the widely exposed back and the characteristic skirt, as well as the very fine thighs that are seen through them etc. there are many points
that you absolutely need to check out!
Oh yeah, the pose as she stands with her sword and card is cool too, right?
2nd Place:
Dizzy Alter Ver.
Alter’s Dizzy from Guilty Gear XX Accent Core came 2nd, having her place at 1st taken by the new figure. But really, not bad at all, the figure of great detail and high level of craftsmanship sure is going strong!
3rd Place:
Nendoroid Kyon Disappearance Ver.
I don’t know how many of you have been waiting for this, but the main character of "Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi", Kyon has finally been turned into a Nendoroid as the Disappearance ver. by Good Smile Company!
Gee, I didn’t see this one coming, who would’ve thought Kyon would actually be turned into such cute figure? Yet is still very ‘Kyon-like’, with his standard serious look, as well as the expression of grief/face
palm?
Anyway, an interesting figure, none the less.
4th Place:
Yuri Good Smile Company Ver.
The Leader of SSS, Yuri by Good Smile Company is still going strong on the ranking! I always think this, but the figures by Good Smile Company are of great standard, and this Yuri is of no exception, such beauty. Her atmosphere from the
anime has been well captured and reproduced with great quality!
5th Place:
Matou Sakura -Makiri’s Grail-
The awaited Sakura wrapped in darkness, a.k.a. Black Sakura will be released by Gift!
Having such characteristic design of costume, the "Grail of Makiri" has been reproduced with glossy, illusive atmosphere that gives an impression of darkness, yet somehow beautiful...
You can also connect the base with the display stand of
Saber Alter that we are currently taking re-release reservation for as well.
6th Place:
Tosaka Rin -Unlimited Blade Works-
Being pushed down a little by the new figures flooding in, but Rin by Good Smile Company is still keeping in the ranking! The amazing craftsmanship is worthy of praise.
7th Place:
Senjyogahara Hitagi Good Smile Company Ver.
8th Place:
Super Sonico Bondage Ver.
9th Place:
Nendoroid Black Gold Saw
10th Place:
Rachel Alucard
And last but not least, FREEing bring you the figure of the little vampire from the fighting game BlazBlue, lady "Rachel Alucard" at a great 1/6 scale! The
self-centered proud vampire had been reproduced with
the image just as she activate her drive move that manipulates wind! The details of the frilled skirt, the sleeves, and the thick soled boots etc. had been crafted with precise details. The contrast of her cute, doll-like appearance and
her cold, almost fierce expression creates an indescribable harmony.
And, her transforming cat Nago had been reproduced in the form of the umbrella, along with Gii the red puffy bat, also included too! How great!
And that’s it for the Hobby Search Weekly Bishojo Ranking for the week of 13th~19th December!
Other interesting new figures for the week that caught my eye was the
Kanu Uncho Last Battle ver. by Alphamax, that’s looking very sexy, yet cute.
Following last week, there are many new items ranking in.
And out of the lot, Kotobukiya’s Maxima is released at the same time as the game, so I wonder how things will turn out with that.
And it’s great to see that Saber Alter has been put on re-release along with the appearance of "Matou Sakura –Makiri’s Grail-" too.
Anyway, next week will be the last Hobby Search Ranking Blog of the year.
