@fyi:
the illustration this figure is based on has that big thigh thin shin thing going on,
so the sculptor was just very accurate to the original illustration.

Marvel Bishoujo Dark Phoenix Rebirth (Completed)

I took a look at the link the guy before me linked to. Thought he was talking bullcrap, but oh boy, he was not. They shrunk her bust size and dragged the sash down from a straight line into a U shape on the actual statue and yeah, those weird stretchy things weren't there before. I don't get it, it doesn't look as good. Why?

Here's a link to the official Shunya Yamashita image

They added these ugly folds to break up the shape of her body shapes and breast line and ugly enlarged cloth folds to cover the crotch area.

The old statue looked better, it didn't have floppy textures the artist obviously didn't design.

Shining Wind [Kanon Shiina] (PVC Figure)

I still have the 2009 version of the figure, back in 09 the figure was awesome I loved the pose, the colors, and how attractive the character looked (I still love them) but her hair color fades over time even if you store her away from sunlight with led lightning. On mine the color of her hair has turned from a red color to a white/pink color over the years. I know that its a 10 yr old figure but if it keeps fading her hair will turn white in a few more years.
